In November 2023, on the occasion of the Trio’s 30th anniversary concert, the premiere of our new album took place, in the recording of which Agnieszka Wilczynska, Adam Nowak, Robert Majewski and the Trio, i.e. Andrzej Jagodzinski, Adam Cegielski and Czeslaw Maly Bartkowski took part.
Decalogue-Songs for a Better Life is a record of Wieslawa Sujkowska and Andrzej Jagodzinski’s own interpretation of this work. The resulting songs are not religious in nature, but describe the condition of modern man in relation to the successive Commandments. On the musical side, the project is eleven jazz compositions referring to the classics of the genre and motifs of Polish folk music.
